My name is Taryn,  I’m a quiet introverted person but once I start talking about something I’m passionate about, I get super excited and will not stop talking and arguing about the topic. I feel like I’m creative in certain things in my life, like photography, art projects, and English as well. During my freetime I like to watch movies and take care of my fish, I have 5 fish tanks. The biggest fish tank has 2 yellow Oscars; they like to eat other fish. We also have 3 cats: Blue, Green and Lucifer. They are all really loud cats. I’ve only lived in 3 places my entire life, Grand Forks, Nelson, and Christina lake. I work as a waitress every Saturday, serving sushi and teriyaki. I love sushi and food in general. I’m not that picky of an eater but I do hate many things.  So there now you know me 🙂

Kalayna, pronounced like it’s spelled (ka-lay-na) or honestly however you want.

I’m 16, finally, (winter baby) but although I’m one of the youngest, I’d like to say I’m also decently mature.

I am an army brat, meaning I moved around lots while growing up. I’ve lived all across Canada, west coast to east coast and back again. Growing up across the country has given me different experiences, and if I’ve gained anything, it’s that I can easily adapt to my surroundings and that I have tonnes of stories. I guess if I were to describe my personality I’d say I’m hilarious (although my friends might disagree) and that I am responsible (oldest child)  and focused on schoolwork.

I really enjoy some sports; in the winter you can find me at the ski hill, and in the summer you can find me swimming in the river, lying on the beach, or on the golf course. I also enjoy playing badminton and volleyball in the summer with my friends and siblings. When I’m not in school, at work, or out doing sports, I am probably hanging out with friends, playing video games, or rewatching The Office for the 100th time. I really enjoy baking, cooking, and eating.

I am not sure what I want to do with my life, but for now, I’m going to focus on getting through one school project at a time.
